I can't figure out what the hell has been up with our internet because half the time it's not letting me on DW, LJ or my email but other websites will load just fine. (neighbors aren't having any problems) It'll be wonko for about thirty minutes and then everything will load fine for a little bit and then stop working again ( Read more... )

Apparently Arkansas has had a whole buttload of earthquakes lately. We haven't felt a thing where I live (northeast corner of the state.)

The snow has stayed north of us (for now) and my job interview went well. If they call me back before the weekend I'll have a weekend Home Care (sitting with elderly clients) job that'll lead into full-time. Mom doesn't like some of the locations where I'll have to possibly go for it since they're like 20 miles away and with the pick-up truck down ( Read more... )

Just heard on the news that we're supposed to get 8-12 inches of snow over tonight and tomorrow.

We live in an underground house at the bottom of a hill.

(and I have a job interview in the morning.)

It's a long story on why this is happening but my niece HH is going to be put into the Homebound program instead of regular school (if this crooked ass school/court system doesn't send her away). Just as I was going to bed last night I heard a loud bang noise and saw orange light reflecting on the living room window. Freaked me out because it looked like fire. It was. The neighbors have been moving out and throwing things they don't want to take into a 'trash pile'. Which they set ablaze at 11:30 at night. While we have a fire ban going on ( Read more... )
